The program for the Junior High School at Rose Marie Academy follows a skills-based curriculum that encourages a constructivist approach to learning.
A wide variety of teaching approaches is used to ensure that all students are able to build skills and knowledge on firmly established foundations.
Teaching and learning may take place in small classes, groups, or in an individual, tutorial situation as appropriate to meet the needs of the students. We feel that it is important for each student to have the opportunity to reach his or her greatest potential while developing a love of learning.
Great emphasis is placed on inculcating mutual respect amongst students and staff, extending to the wider community.
